REFUND POLICY

Tickets are a one-of-a-kind item and not replaceable.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, or CANCELLATIONS on any order once it is submitted to us.

IF AN EVENT IS CANCELLED INDEFINITELY, RAINED-OUT, OR CANCELLED DUE TO A STRIKE-YOU MUST CONTACT (877)-929-2783 WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF CANCELLATION OR RAIN-OUT.  TICKETS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE MAIN EVENT WITHIN TEN DAYS OF THE INDEFINITELY CANCELLED OR RAINED-OUT EVENT. A REFUND OF THE FACE VALUE, MINUS TAX AND SHIPPING FEES WILL BE AWARDED. IF TICKETS WERE PURCHASED FOR BELOW FACE VALUE, YOU ARE ONLY ENTITLED TO THE AMOUNT THE TICKETS WERE PURCHASED FOR ORIGINALLY.  TAX AND SHIPPING FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.  If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the tickets will be honored for the new date of the show.  New tickets will not be issued.  If the event is moved to a different venue, the tickets will be honored for the new venue. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF DATE OR VENUE.

LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS

When you receive your tickets keep them in a safe place. Please take great care to safeguard your tickets. Handle them as you would cash. Lost or stolen tickets: (a) will not be replaced; (b) will not have location slips issued in replacement; and (c) cannot be replaced under any circumstances.

E-TICKETS (TICKETFAST)

TicketFast tickets are the same as e-tickets for an airline. At the venue, the ticket's barcode is scanned to obtain entry. These are 100% transferable so the name printed in the upper right corner of the ticket is irrelevant when attending an event. These tickets can be e-mailed or faxed to you in order to facilitate last minute requests.

ENTERTAINMENT TAX (CHICAGO, ILLINOIS)

Events taking place within the City of Chicago are subject to an 8% City of Chicago Entertainment Tax.

TICKET QUANTITIES AND CONSECUTIVENESS

Tickets purchased in a single listing will be seated together, unless otherwise noted by the under "Notes." Please review the ticket notes before making your final selection. The term piggy back refers to the same seats numbers but they are in two consecutive rows. Some venues will have even or odd numbered seats that are also consecutive.

Quantities you see will usually be pairs or greater even numbers of tickets for sale, as this is the most common way tickets are handled.  Odd numbers, especially single tickets, are harder to get and so may be more expensive to obtain. Tickets are available only as listed, but please call us at 877-929-2783 if you don't see the quantity you are looking for online.

MISCELLANEOUS

All listed ticket prices are in U.S. dollars and cents.

All tickets are shipped via FedEx.com and a tracking number will be provided.  Tickets may be tracked on FedEx.com.

REPLACEMENT TICKETS

Tickets purchased on TheMainEvent.com are generally in stock; however, our inventory is constantly changing due to the nature of the ticket marketplace.  For this reason, occasionally tickets that were ordered are no longer available. An employee of TheMainEvent.com will contact you immediately if this is the case.  We will work to find replacement tickets that are comparable or better than original tickets ordered.  You will have the option to accept or decline the replacement tickets offered, and your credit card will not be charged unless you accept.  Replacement tickets are not returnable or exchangeable under terms and conditions after acceptance by user.

"PRE-ORDERS"

"Pre-Orders" tickets for some events are not obtainable until closer to the date of the event. "Pre-Orders" are tickets that are purchased in advance and are currently not in stock. Exact seating locations are not yet available so orders are taken for general seating locations. Tickets will be delivered as soon as we receive them. In some cases deliveries are not made until the week of the event and occasionally as late as the day of the event. There is no guarantee as to the date and time tickets will be delivered other than prior to the event. Please refer to individual event pages or call for more information.

Once an order has been confirmed, you will receive an email of confirmation and FedEx tracking number.

DATE OF SHIPPING

Orders placed after 5PM will be processed and shipped the next business day.  Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship Monday.  Please contact us @ (877)-929-2783 during business hours (contact us page) if the event for which you are purchasing tickets is occurring within the next 24 hours to arrange near-term delivery.
